Where are your restaurants located?
We have two locations:
- La Mesa - 8141 La Mesa Blvd., La Mesa, CA 91942, in the heart of old La Mesa.
- Chula Vista - 330 F St., Chula Vista, CA 91910, serving the South Bay.
What kind of food do you serve?
Farm-to-fork American and Italian dishes made with locally sourced, organic ingredients. We're best known for our brunch, including the 10-pound Bloody Mary featured on Food Network. Learn more about us.
Is there parking?
We don't have a private lot, but there is plenty of street parking around both restaurants.

Reservations & Hours
When we're open and how to save your table.
What are your hours?
La Mesa: Monday - Thursday 9am - 9pm, Friday - Sunday 8am - 9pm.
Chula Vista: Monday - Thursday 9am - 2:30pm, Friday - Sunday 8am - 2:30pm.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. Book online through OpenTable for La Mesa or Chula Vista.
Are you open every day?
Yes. Both restaurants are open seven days a week. La Mesa serves breakfast, lunch and dinner; Chula Vista serves breakfast and lunch.
Is the Chula Vista location open for dinner?
Farmer's Table Chula Vista closes at 2:30pm. In the evening, our sister restaurant Acqua e Farina opens for dinner at the same address. For Farmer's Table dinner, visit La Mesa.
Can I book a table for a large group?
Yes. For large parties, start with our private events page. Groups larger than 14 may be asked to order from a reduced menu so we can serve everyone well.

Which menus are served at each location?
La Mesa: Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Drinks, Happy Hour, Date Night, Kid's Brunch and Kid's Dinner.
Chula Vista: Brunch, Lunch, Drinks and Kid's Brunch.
Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes. Vegetarian dishes are marked VEG on our menus, and our brunch menu includes a Veggie Bowl with soy chorizo and your choice of vegan or regular scrambled eggs.
Are menu items labeled for gluten-free?
Items marked GF on our menus are gluten-free. If you have questions about a specific dish, ask your server.
Do you have seasonal specials?
Yes. Check Specials From the Farm at La Mesa, and follow us on Instagram for monthly specials at both locations.
Can I view the menus before I visit?

Happy Hour & Weekly Specials

When is happy hour?
At La Mesa, happy hour runs Tuesday - Sunday 3:30pm - 6pm and Monday 3:30pm - close, in the bar, lounge and lower deck patio only. See the happy hour menu.
Is there happy hour in Chula Vista?
Happy hour is offered at our La Mesa location. Chula Vista closes at 2:30pm.
What is Margarita Tuesday?
Every Tuesday at La Mesa, margaritas are $8.
What is Date Night?
Every Wednesday at La Mesa we offer a rotating Date Night menu for two at a set price per couple. See the current Date Night menu.
Do you have wine specials?
Yes. On Thursdays at La Mesa, select bottles of wine are half off.
Private Events & Banquets

Can I host a private event at Farmer's Table?
Yes. Both restaurants and each of their seating sections are available for private or semi-private events. See event details for La Mesa or Chula Vista.
How many guests can the La Mesa location hold?
- Private Dining Room: 30 seated / 40 standing
- Main Dining Room: 50 seated / 60 standing
- Patio: 20 seated / 30 standing
- Library & Chef's Table: 12 seated
- Cocktail Lounge: 20 seated / 30 standing
- Full buyout: 132 seated / 160 standing
What event packages do you offer?
La Mesa offers brunch, lunch and dinner banquet packages. Chula Vista offers a brunch banquet package. We also have course selections and sample menus available.
Is there a special menu for large groups?
Groups larger than 14 guests may be required to order from a reduced menu. This helps us give you and every guest the best service.
How do I book an event?

Are you kid-friendly?
Absolutely. Both locations are family-friendly, with kids menus at brunch and, in La Mesa, at dinner.
What's on the kids menu?
Our Kid's Brunch menu includes French toast, pancakes, a ham and cheese omelet, grilled cheese, personal cheese pizza, mac and cheese, a cheeseburger, chicken tenders and yogurt with fruit. La Mesa also has a Kid's Dinner menu.
Can we celebrate a family occasion with you?
Yes. Book a private or semi-private space for birthdays and family gatherings, or reserve a table on OpenTable for smaller groups.
